Text and files you compare

Your text is compared in your browser. The comparison tool does not send your text or imported files to our servers, store them in browser storage, or include them in page URLs. Reloading or closing the page clears the inputs. Reports you choose to download are saved to your device; copied reports use your clipboard.

Website access information

Cloudflare hosts this website and may process request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs and timestamps, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the text you enter into the comparison tool. We do not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use this information to respond and resolve the issue. Do not include passwords or confidential document text in a support request.

Your choices

Use Clear all to remove both inputs, or close the page. Delete downloaded reports and clear your clipboard using your device’s controls. To ask about information included in a support email, contact support@textcompare.cv.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we handle information changes. The effective date above reflects the latest substantive change.
